CMS Small Business Summit: Advancing Healthcare Through Small Business Collaboration
On Tuesday, September 24, RELI hosted the CMS Small Business Summit, an event that brought together government representatives, industry experts and small business partners. The summit focused on collaboration, innovation and the critical role small businesses play in advancing healthcare solutions to support the mission of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
The event opened with a welcome from RELI Group’s Founder and CEO, Mohammad Elias, who set the stage by emphasizing the importance of collaboration in tackling healthcare challenges. “It was inspiring to see so many driven individuals and organizations come together with the shared goal of improving healthcare,” said Elias. “Small businesses are the backbone of innovation, and fostering these connections is key to making a real impact.”
Attendees participated in a series of insightful presentations that highlighted key opportunities for small businesses, effective strategies for collaborating with CMS, and the role of data in improving healthcare outcomes. “This summit was a powerful reminder of how much we can achieve when we work together,” said Darryl Roberts, VP of Health Informatics at RELI. “By sharing expertise and resources, we can overcome challenges and push the boundaries of what’s possible in healthcare.”
Networking opportunities throughout the day allowed participants to connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships. Reflecting on the success of the summit, Douglas Kelly, Jr., RELI’s Chief Strategy Officer, added, “We are particularly appreciative of the considerable time and effort that in-demand CMS executives gave to this event. Their insights were both strategic and practical. In addition, we really appreciated the enthusiasm brought by the CMS small business attendees, who ranged from tenured incumbents to up-and-comers. The energy and commitment shared at this event are proof that the CMS community is collaborative and dynamic.”
