Intern Insider: Reflecting on a Year of Success with RELI Group Interns

At RELI Group, we take immense pride in watching our interns grow professionally and are privileged to stand by them as they learn, adapt and thrive in their roles. Over the past year, these talented individuals have embraced challenges with determination and turned new opportunities into accomplishments. Their hard work, fresh perspectives and enthusiasm have not only contributed to their personal development but also enriched our organization in countless ways.
Looking Back on #TeamRELI
In 2024, RELI Group proudly welcomed 31 interns across various departments, reflecting our commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for young professionals. These interns have taken on diverse roles and responsibilities, contributing to areas such as web design, marketing and PR, business development, project support and health informatics compliance. Success Stories
Ryder Zvorak
Ryder, a Web Design Intern at RELI Group, joined the team a few months ago and has already faced and overcome challenges that have helped him grow. He shared that the opportunities to learn and grow have been incredible, mentioning how he’s developed new skills and been supported by a team that encourages him to step outside his comfort zone.
One project that stood out to Ryder was when he was tasked with a website redesign project. At first, the project felt overwhelming, especially since the design software was new to him. “I was stumped at first,” Ryder admitted, “But I decided to dive right in and tackle it page by page.” After several iterations, reviews and adjustments, Ryder successfully completed his first major project—a website design he is proud of.
He credits much of his success to the support of the marketing and communications team, saying, “The experience was made significantly positive thanks to their guidance.” Ryder is excited about what lies ahead, adding, “I can’t wait to see what’s next!”
Jasmine Wilcoxson
Jasmine Wilcoxson, a Project Support Intern on RELI Group’s Customer Experience team, has made remarkable contributions during her internship. Since joining RELI, Jasmine has conducted thorough market research to support ongoing corporate growth activities, including competitive analysis and identifying contract vehicles and partners with complementary capabilities. For example, she played a vital role in developing RELI’s Customer Experience (CX) Capabilities by performing CX-specific competitive analysis, coordinating and facilitating teams for the CX Working Group (CXWG), and tracking progress on CXWG initiatives.
Cross-department collaboration has been a hallmark of Jasmine’s work, particularly with RELI’s Marketing & Communications team, where she helped promote CX content and authored three blogs highlighting key CX strategies. Her contributions deserve recognition, as she supports RELI’s CX team leads and collaborates across departments, demonstrating her ability to enhance efficiency and innovation. Reflecting on her time at RELI, Jasmine remarked, “RELI has made the Employee Experience (EX) incredible for me! Their mission and values aren’t just words—they truly live them. It’s the first time I’ve felt championed and valued in a corporate environment, which inspired me to exceed expectations!”
Jacob Klohr
Jacob, an Health Informatics Compliance Intern at RELI Group, recently shared a project that stands out as a key accomplishment during his internship. He is particularly proud of is his work on audits that required learning new material efficiently and accurately, despite some challenges that came up along the way.
“The project had its challenges, but we pushed through and learned a lot,” Jacob reflected. Jacob also highlighted the teamwork that made the experience memorable, saying, “This was a tough task, but the support from the team, especially the task leads, really made it rewarding. I loved the challenge.” He added that the skills he gained from the project are ones he’s excited to apply in the future. “I took away many new skills that I look forward to using here at RELI!”
Arden Dubiel
Arden, a Web Design Intern at RELI Group, has only been with the company for a few months, but she’s already had multiple impactful experiences as part of the marketing team. She shared how much she’s enjoyed working on different projects and learning from each one, noting, “The variety of projects has provided a great opportunity to grow.”
One of the highlights for Arden has been the chance to explore different web design tools. She’s worked with Figma for wireframes, written custom code using Visual Studio (VS) Code and designed through a content management system (CMS) and visual page builder. Additionally, she’s had hands-on experience editing and creating content with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Arden credited her success to her supportive team, saying, “My greatest asset throughout these projects has been my team! They’ve helped lead me to success through regular feedback, industry tips and encouragement. I really feel like I’m a part of the team.”
Hailey Rotz
Hailey, a Marketing and PR intern at RELI Group, reflected on her year-long journey with the company, emphasizing her professional growth and accomplishments. “The responsibility, resilience and knowledge I’ve gained are all thanks to the incredible support of my team,” she shared. One of her highlights was collaborating on social media platforms for RELI Group and the Elias and Sultana Foundation (E&S). Through strategic planning, high-quality posts and brainstorming sessions, Hailey played a vital role in enhancing social media analytics. She also completed and presented analytics presentations, applying data-driven solutions to improve content for both E&S and RELI Group.
Beyond social media, Hailey explored other creative areas, building her design and writing skills using Adobe InDesign. She embraced feedback, allowing her to refine her work and gain a deeper understanding of the creative process. As marketing continues to evolve, Hailey credits adaptability, continuous learning and her experiences at RELI Group as keys to her success.
Aash Desai
Aash, an Business Compliance Intern at RELI Group, has accomplished significant milestones since starting his internship in June. Working with RELI’s Executive Director of Customer Relations, Bill Pratt, he enhanced partner management processes by designing a questionnaire to filter potential partners and creating a streamlined catalog in the CRM tool TechnoMile. He also developed a guide for the market research team, learning valuable insights from David Blackwell. “These early projects taught me the value of process organization and collaboration,” Aash shared.
In August, he transitioned to the market research team under David’s mentorship, tackling tasks like organizing federal agency data, building capability matrices and creating detailed opportunity reports. He also embraced automation, developing a Python script for asset downloads and a bot to manage partner capability statements. “These projects highlight RELI’s innovative culture, where creativity and growth are celebrated,” Aash said. With the support of his mentors, Aash has gained invaluable experience and looks forward to further contributions.

As we look to the future, RELI Group remains committed to expanding and enhancing our internship program, providing valuable resources, dedicated mentorship and hands-on experiences across various fields. We encourage incoming interns to approach their journey with curiosity, resilience and a passion for learning.
